Williams routinely uses Optimal Markets auctions for sale of large quantities of ethylene. In a typical auction, 10-15 million pounds are sold with upwards of 10 bidders participating in simultaneous, multi-lateral bidding. Often, numerous bidders are awarded some portion of the total sale.
